SPLASHForward is a community advocacy group, a stakeholder and a private funding partner.
SPLASHForward is spearheading the effort to bring new best in class public aquatic facilities to the Eastside and supporting regional aquatics facility development. Our initial efforts are working in partnership with the City of Bellevue, the Bellevue School District, King County, our regional partners including the City of Redmond and the City of Kirkland as well as local businesses and community organizations.
SplashForward is advocating within our community, engaging stakeholders in the process, building lasting public-private partnerships, and identifying funding sources that take us from build to ongoing operations. We look to extend our advocacy to assist other projects and initiatives bringing deep regional aquatics knowledge and thought leadership. Though analytical research with local and national aquatics facilities we have the numbers and best practice guidance on how aquatics facilities can be operationally sustainable and work in partnership with our communities.

Our advocacy aims to serve the broad aquatic needs for a full range of fitness, recreation, health, wellness, and competitive aquatics programs for all ages, abilities and backgrounds.

SPLASHForward has built and cultivated working relationships with local aquatics user groups, key community stakeholders, City of Bellevue, Bellevue School District, King County, the Regional Aquatics Group (Bellevue, Redmond & Kirkland) and local & national aquatics and business advisors.
SPLASHForward is engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs, concerns, and continues to extensively research facilities both on the local and national level.
We have developed Best-In-Class criteria for aquatics facilities and have hired a nationally recognized aquatics consultant to advise and provide an in-depth analysis of our regional aquatics needs.

Providing public/private partnerships and raising private capital will be a cornerstone to our success for capital building and ongoing sustainable operations.
SPLASHForward as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) funding vehicle aims to bring our voices to the table and raise the public funds through individuals, local companies, grants, foundations and endowments.
